Choose Your Graphics Card Wisely

There are multiple uses of graphics card.Mainly we use GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)for Gaming or Video Editing. It's always been hard to decide which graphics card should I select.

1)Nvidia or Amd?

The most regularly asked question ever, which is better Nvidia or Amd?Both are equally good and compete aggressively to improve their sales and this benefits the consumer.
Generally, Nvidia GPU’s are more expensive but more reliable, produce less heat etc. and AMD is more bang-for-the-buck type. Again it all ends at personal preference.

2)Memory Size

The frequently asked question is what amount of memory my graphic card should have.Obviously higher the memory, better the performance but this depends much on the situation. Games are becoming more and more demanding and you won’t be able to do much of future proofing in this budget. Minimum requirement was 1GB but it’s recommended now to go for 2GB. 4GB isn’t really that big of a need at this budget.

3)Some Facts That You Should Consider While Purchasing And Using A Graphics Card

  • Make sure that the graphic card you purchase is compatible with your current pc.
  • Always buy graphic cards ( Nvidia or Amd) under warranty.
  • To find more information about Graphic Cards visit these two popular and widely recognized sites – TechPowerUp and Tom’s Hardware.
  • GPU overclocking is very risky.
  • Buy Graphic cards either online or from your local market place – wherever the cheapest.
